The Hartford Golf Club is honored and excited to be hosting the 60th U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship. Established in 1949, the U.S. Girls' Junior draws the finest young female players from the United States as well as many foreign countries. The event is open to any female golfer who has not reached her 18th birthday by the close of the competition and has a USGA Handicap Index that does not exceed 18.4. The Girls' Junior is one of 13 national championships conducted annually by the USGA, 10 of which are strictly for amateurs.
This will be the second USGA event hosted by our club. In 1996, marking our 100th Anniversary, Hartford Golf Club was the site of the Men’s Mid- Amateur Championship. |
